The MEB educational project
WHAT
The MEB’s major cultural and educational project, under the name "Art and Sexology", constitutes the cornerstone of its educational area. It is a project developed by Sigrid Cervera, a leading sexologist at MEB and member of the State Association of Professionals in Sexology (AEPS), based on sex education and bringing together erotic art and sexology, the science that studies the sexes and their relationships.
WHAT FORIf we can speak of art as a tool through which we interpret the world around us, studying and learning about the sexes and their relationships through erotic art is a unique opportunity.
HOWThus, through its educational area, the project is made up of different activities, workshop series, talks, guided tours, and training sessions aimed at the general local public and, in particular, the educational community, teachers, students, and families.
WHO TEACHES THEMSigrid Cervera Expert in Sexological Counseling, Sex Education, and the Study of Eroticism in Art. A reference figure in sexological intervention within the museum field and member of the State Association of Professionals in Sexology.
